Just wanted to say thank you to your office staff and your service technician “Garrett”. I tried to clean my bedroom window this afternoon when something broke as I was opening it and both window half’s fell out of the casing. I could see broken parts on the sill and envisioned a very cold night ahead. But when I called your office you were able to get a repair tech out in about an hour. Thanks office staff!
Garrett was able to retrofit the window with the parts he had on hand and also took time to look at another window my wife had trouble sealing. Turns out there was a ridge on the lower casing of both windows that needed cleaning to function (who knew?). I guess that should have been self evident! Garrett said we originally purchased these windows in 2001, that’s over sixteen years and this repair was still covered under your lifetime warrantee, I didn’t expect that.
Yesterday, Jan.17, you sent a nice fella here to repair a window you had installed 15 months ago. Cold air was seeping in at the slider joint.
Your repair man determined the problem to be an opening due to the window not being completely closed. My question to you is — how can a 92 year man be expected to know how to close a window? I have reread the literature that came with the window and can find no instruction stating that one must totally close the window so that the outside air will not come in.
You’re repair man patiently explained how a window works and carefully demonstrated the procedure for opening and closing. I think I now have the hang of it. And, he didn’t charge me a cent!
Thank you Windows of America for your response. And also thanks to the nice, really tall fella you sent, (whose name, I of course, cannot remember) to deal with my problem.
My wife also thanks you and is searching for someone to give me a brain scan.
New Windows for America in north Denver, just replaced the windows and sliding glass door in our house. To say they did an awesome job would be an understatement! Everything went very smoothly. Installation was complete in a day and a half, all old windows were removed, every thing cleaned up and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
Many thanks to Clyde, Monica and Brett!
We have had Window for America replace all of our western facing windows over the last couple of years. We’ve been happy working with the front office, Keith the estimator, and the installation crews – they are professional and stand behind their work.
Over the past 2 years Windows America installed new windows on our home. Let me start with how we got to the point of needing new windows. Our home was 12 years old and the windows started to fail that the builder had installed (basically junk windows on an above average price home), windows were leaking and frames turning yellow. So upon receiving a mailer from Anderson Windows we called them and had them give us a bid. My wife and I about fell over when they provided us with a bid that was nearly 1/3rd the cost of our home. I guess that explains why they have all those radio spots and print advertisements. So we then contacted Champion and a similar shock came over us with their prices being about 1/4th the cost of our home. At this point my wife and I were concerned that we would have to take a huge second mortgage out to replace windows that honestly shouldn’t have failed so soon. Then a friend of mine that is a local contractor said to give Windows America a call. Not only did they come out and explain the various types of windows they offered (in prices ranges that were far less than the others mentioned above) but nearly the identical type window with regards to quality and warranty. So we placed the order and waited for the installation date. The installers that Windows America uses are top notch. They are very clean and make every effort to leave your home in the condition it was in prior to arriving. I would also like to mention that during the process we ran into a couple issues that were very uncommon but Clyde Lundeen the owner of Windows America was one of the most honorable business men I have come across, and believe me you don’t find a lot of them in the constructions trade industry as I have worked in and with installers and building material people for years. Not only did Clyde take it upon himself to personally handle the matter, he ensured that we were satisfied with the end result and honestly went out of his way to make of it. I rarely if ever provide reviews for products or services provided as typically they are just avg or below and require my effort to finish or fix but not in this case and as such I would highly recommend Windows America to anyone looking to replace their windows, doors etc…. as Clyde will make sure your happy and the products you will receive will match those of any other competitor in this space. Thank you to Clyde and his entire team for an amazing overall experience and should we ever need windows or doors again they will be the first and only company I will call.
We just had our siding done with Cedar Ridge (a Craneboard product) and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve dealt with a lot of companies and people through out our house remodel and New Windows for America was very professional from the beginning to the end which was wonderful. The work they did on our house turned out better than we expected. One thing we really liked is that once they started our house, they didn’t leave until they were finished. We’ve had some companies start a job and then do other jobs as well which made a 3 day project turn into a month project.
With New Windows for America, they started and finished without doing other jobs which is the way it should be done. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone. We have nothing but great things to say!
Thank you Matt, Moon, and the rest of the team for making this an enjoyable experience!
I wanted to thank you for a job well done. I must say, I truly appreciate your commitment to customer service. The follow up calls and services provided to make sure all warranty related repairs had been completed to our satisfaction, far exceeded our expectations. Your professionalism is very much appreciated.
Thanks again for all your help.
I wanted to let you know how much our new windows have cut down on our heating bill, but most of all the noise level in our bedroom. Our house is 4 houses up from 128th Avenue (a busy street) and we used to be able to hear the cars. Now that we have our new windows, we can’t hear the cars at all!
Thank you so much for the great windows!
Thanks Keith for introducing us to a “quality” window! Tom & team – we really appreciate your “quality” workmanship! Last, but not least, Amber & office your updates and follow through, soooo appreciated!
Good team of conscientious installers. Windows went in quickly, though I had to point out a few areas that needed the foam insulation during installation and one hole that needed spackle after they thought they were done. Very good job on cleanup of work areas and disposal of old windows/screens. Sales person came by after installation to check out the project – nice touch. Another bonus was they were able to get us some financing when we were having trouble getting funds from other sources. All in all – satisfied, just wishing windows weren’t so expensive.
